Review For Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone

Ah the book that got me so attached to that darn series that I spent all summer reading it. But it sure was an addicting book. I think the part of the book I liked best was either the mirror erised or the Quidditch matches or maybe Hagrid. I mean come on you just gotta love that giant, or half ;) To be honest I never really wanted to read the Harry Potter books. I actually had no interest in them. But one day during my classes visit to the school library I asked my friend if she had any good book suggestions. She had currently been reading the first Harry Potter and told me to read it. Now I normally wouldn't have read it, but because I always suggest books to her, I thought I ought to return the favor. So I took it out and it didn't really catch my interest...at first. Two days later my brother missed the bus and I was locked out. I was really bored so I sat on the front step and started to  read Harry Potter. As soon as Hagrid showed up I went mad! That book was so interesting, making you feel like you were in another world just like a wizard. A couple of days later, our class had a book sale and I saw Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone magic edition. I scooped it up my interest went up again. I took the book to an island where they're was no television or internet in the cabin I stayed in and I was forced to read it where I finished it and wanted to start the second one as soon as possible. But sadly I was stuck on the island for another five days and I had to put up with making card houses(made a reallllly good one!) and relaxing at the beach. So in conclusion Harry Potter was a good start to a series that could only get better. My interest came and went at first but later on my interest soared and I loved it! ***.5/*****
