Review For Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone

Ah the book that got me so attached to that darn series that I spent all summer reading it. But it sure was an addicting book. I think the part of the book I liked best was either the mirror erised or the Quidditch matches or maybe Hagrid. I mean come on you just gotta love that giant, or half ;) To be honest I never really wanted to read the Harry Potter books. I actually had no interest in them. But one day during my classes visit to the school library I asked my friend if she had any good book suggestions. She had currently been reading the first Harry Potter and told me to read it. Now I normally wouldn't have read it, but because I always suggest books to her, I thought I ought to return the favor. So I took it out and it didn't really catch my interest...at first. Two days later my brother missed the bus and I was locked out. I was really bored so I sat on the front step and started to  read Harry Potter. As soon as Hagrid showed up I went mad! That book was so interesting, making you feel like you were in another world just like a wizard. A couple of days later, our class had a book sale and I saw Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone magic edition. I scooped it up my interest went up again. I took the book to an island where they're was no television or internet in the cabin I stayed in and I was forced to read it where I finished it and wanted to start the second one as soon as possible. But sadly I was stuck on the island for another five days and I had to put up with making card houses(made a reallllly good one!) and relaxing at the beach. So in conclusion Harry Potter was a good start to a series that could only get better. My interest came and went at first but later on my interest soared and I loved it! ***.5/*****

Ways To Get Stories Posted Online

Okay so this post's topic is about how to get your stories online. A way for a young author's story to be posted is to submit it on Fanfiction.net. I discovered this last January and have been a member ever since. It's simple really: Follow sign up instructions and write a story using open office. When you're ready to post your story, go onto publish and click new story. Fill out everything that is asked and then go to preview, then if you like it publish it! Oh before you go to new story you need to upload it to Document manager! If you do not do that you will be very confused! So now that you have your story published, you might want to submit a new chapter right? Well here's a little tip: Write the new chapter on a different document! I made the mistake of doing that and all my chapters were all bunched together and it was depressing :( so when you have your new chapter typed up, go onto Document manager and load your new document. Give it a title and browse for your saved document. Then go to my stories, click the story you want to add your chapter to it from an existing file and bam! You have a new chapter! One last tip, people will review it but it may take a while but don't worry it will be reviewed, and if it's bad remember every author has one hater. Oh and if it's driving you crazy waiting for a review, enable your private reviews and submit your own under a fake name! Catch some eyes ;)

About Moi

Hey world wide web! What's up? Me? I'm good. My name is Rain (well actually it's my middle name) and I'm doing this blog to help those who want to be young writers one day. Me, I am a avid reader and yes I am that nerdy girl who writes for fun. I've read some awesome books and because I'm so full of myself, I'm going to share my opinions. Some of my favorite authors is the genius behind Harry Potter, J.K. Rowling, Suzan Collins the writer who got me addicted to the Hunger Games and Kimberly Derting the expert on another great book, The Body Finder. So for those of you like me, who love reading or writing or even both this is the blog for you! I am open to your questions, stories, and ideas on books you'd like me to read! I will also tell you some stuff about me and my dramatic life and inspire you with my daily challenges and my great sense of comedy! So keep your eyes out for new posts and have a great day! :)
